Roxy Leisure, the umbrella brand for Roxy Lanes, which has venues across the UK including Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff and Cheltenham — with Cheltenham being its largest branch so far — is 'bringing the playground to the bar' with the release of its own lager.
Inspired by the beer pong technique, Arc Shot Lager has been brewed in collaboration with Britain's oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame, and each can will feature beer pong rules and tips for how you can beat your mates at the classic game.
A four per cent classic lager, the new alcoholic beverage contains a well-balanced blend of brown and lager malts, lightly hopped for a clean, crisp and refreshing taste — perfect for sipping on when you're waiting for your turn at the dart board, the bowling alley or the karaoke mic!
Sales and marketing director at Roxy Leisure, Joel Mitchell, said: 'At Roxy Leisure, we’re always looking for new ways to take our F&B offering to the next level, and have been working with Shepherd Neame for over a year to produce an exciting 440ml canned lager that’s perfect for any night out.
'With our activities being at the forefront of everything we do, we felt it was only right to create a lager that paid homage to one of our favourite and most popular games, beer pong!'
Recently celebrating its 10th anniversary, Roxy Leisure opened its venue on Cheltenham's high street in September 2023 and gave SoGlos readers the first look at its three-floor gaming haven, showcasing activity spaces for everything from air hockey and tech darts to ten-pin bowling and batting cages.
Arc Shot Lager is now being served for guests to enjoy at all Roxy Lanes and Roxy Ball Room venues across the country.
