Over Farm in Gloucester has launched a brand-new drive-thru farm shop, revolutionising the way customers can shop for essentials during lockdown three.

Open from Thursday 14 January 2021, the drive-thru experience gives locals the chance to order groceries from the comfort of their vehicles, by pulling up to the new hut on Over Farm’s site.

Choose from a range of local, seasonal produce; butchery goods, including beef mince and bacon; a menu of essentials like eggs, milk, bread and butter; and more. There’s also a selection of treats from the deli, from scotch eggs to pork pies.

Customers can then take a tour of the farm, driving around the site and looking out for its residents, including ostriches, goats and sheep – all while the team prepare their shopping order. The groceries will be waiting for punters to collect at the roundhouse barn.

Over Farm is still operating its click and collect shopping service, too. While the store remains closed for in-person purchases, due to flooding.
