After a three-year wait, Circo Brasserie on Bath Road in Cheltenham is finally preparing to open its doors.
Diners will be able to check out the new-look brasserie from lunchtime on Friday 9 August 2024.
Circo Brasserie describes its menu as serving up 'European and Italian favourites' and its interiors as 'taking inspiration from the busy French brasseries of the 1900s to the roaring twenties' with 'a playful yet chic environment that would appeal to families' but also ideal for date nights and cocktail gatherings.
Joining the family group behind popular Gloucestershire eateries such as Prithvi, Bhoomi Kitchen, BAO + BBQ, Holee Cow and the newly reopened Mayflower, Circo is JM Socials' 10th restaurant.
The restaurant, formerly the Indus, was first bought in August 2020 but 'the Covid-19 pandemic and building challenges' caused the three-year delay.
Jay Rahman, co-founder of JM Socials, said: 'Our vision for Circo Brasserie has always been to bring a little theatre to the Bath Road. It's been a long wait but hopefully worth it — and we hope that we have got the mix just right.'
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, final menus will be revealed in the coming days but diners can expect dishes such as prawn, crab and tomato linguine; BBQ cauliflower and couscous; beefburgers and steaks cooked over Binchotan charcoal on a Konro grill; sourdough pizza; and pistachio cannoli for dessert; with a dedicated kids menu and some vegan options, too.
To celebrate the long-awaited launch, diners can get 25 per cent off all food from Friday 9 August to Thursday 22 August 2024.
Opening hours are from 8.30am until 10pm, seven days a week. To book a table or for more details, call (01242) 800247.
