Giving diners a taste of Turkey, Anatolian Palace is the newest restaurant to open at Gloucester Quays this August 2023.
Promising to 'provide freshness, quality ingredients, delicately flavoured dishes, succulent meats expertly chargrilled, home-baked bread and most of all, a very warm welcome', the restaurant offers a homely feel for diners, with authentic, traditional dishes inspired by family meals.
With a focus on sharing, the menu includes a selection of hot and cold meze, Turkish pide pizzas, a Mediterranean grill menu and chef's specials, with vegetarians well catered for — and a kid's menu available, too.
Diners can choose from familiar favourites like falafel, halloumi, shish kebabs and moussaka to authentic dishes like imam bayildi — fried aubergine with tomato, garlic, parsley, Anatolian sauce and cheese; lamb or chicken beyti — meat seasoned with garlic, wrapped in lavash bread and topped with tomato sauce, butter and yoghurt; or sucuklu pide — freshly-baked pastry topped with spicy garlic sausage, tomatoes, pepper and mozzarella cheese.
Offering a lunch and a dinner service, there's also a dessert menu with homemade cakes and baklava, as well as cocktails, mocktails, Turkish wines and even raki on the drinks menu.
The Gloucester venue is the third Anatolian Palace restaurant to open, in addition to its sites in Worcester and Stafford.
Anatolian Palace at Gloucester Quays is open from 12pm to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and 12pm to 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
