It's been a labour of love, built over many years of passion for the perfect pizza.
Now Jamie Di Crescienzo and Jake O’Malley's dreams of having their own restaurant are coming true.
The pair launched Bella Mia Pizza seven years ago from a converted horsebox, growing a loyal fanbase that's soared since 2021.
This Friday 17 November 2023, they are proudly opening their first
restaurant on the quayside at Gloucester Food Dock.
Di Crescienzo said: 'After the last few weeks of hard work, everything is now coming together and we are both really excited to welcome everyone.'
But Bella Mia Pizza @ No.1 is not the only business the entrepreneurs are establishing at Gloucester Food Dock. They're also branching out into a fresh arena with a new cocktail bar.
Green Door @ No. 1 is creating Gloucester’s very own 1920s speakeasy cocktail bar, hidden behind Bella Mia Pizza @ No.1.
Open until 2am on the weekend, it'll be home to a host of concoctions and the promise of a very good time.
Four more businesses are busily preparing to open this November 2023, they include Hetty’s Place, Elote tacos, Chuck burgers and Our House by Sibling Distillery.
A new, yet to be revealed business, is also opening in December 2023.
