Anyone who remembers Cheltenham’s Boogie Lounge nightclub will know the venue has an upper floor, with Imperial Haus now set to open it back up.

In light of news that Imperial Haus cocktail bar in Cheltenham is expanding this year, there is speculation over whether owner Sophie Wilding – who is currently competing in The Apprentice on BBC1 – goes on to win the show.

Week three’s episode last Thursday saw her take on the challenge of creating a non-alcoholic drink brand as project manager of Team Infinity.

Unfortunately, the Crafted and Spiced peach-flavoured beer they were touting didn’t win Wilding the task, but the loss didn’t lead to her being fired by Lord Sugar either…

With her enchanted bar to take over another level of the building formerly home to Cheltenham’s Boogie Lounge nightclub, viewers are wondering if the expansion of Imperial Haus is an indicator that Wilding wins The Apprentice 2022 and the £250,000 prize money.

The show was filmed last summer and although Wilding’s not saying anything about the outcome, she has confirmed that work to magically transform the second floor of Imperial Haus will be getting underway in February 2022, ahead of an official unveiling in the spring.

She also revealed to teammates on The Apprentice that she had been working on some non-alcoholic cocktail recipes of her own, which we now know will be part of a new menu launching at Imperial Haus in February, giving us plenty to look forward to in the meantime.

The Apprentice airs on Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
