With the likes of Jean Christophe Novelli, The Dirty Vegan Matt Pritchard and Masterchef 2022 champion Eddie Scott in attendance, Gloucester Quays Food Festival is shaping up to be one of the summer’s most unmissable events.
Gloucestershire foodies can enjoy live cooking demonstrations at the event’s open-air cookery theatre hosted by presenter Chris Bavin, with TV chef Joe Hurd, family food writer Alex Hollywood and Masterchef finalist Philli Armitage-Mattin also taking to the stage at the two-day festival on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July 2022.
No tickets are required for the open-air cookery theatre either, visitors can just turn up and grab a space to watch the chefs cooking up some of their favourite dishes – although spaces are limited and will fill up fast.
The festival is also set to bring 150 market traders to the Quays, offering a tantalising selection of foodie treats from handcrafted spirits to local cheeses, as well as plenty of street food to tuck into, not to mention a pop-up bar serving local beer, too.
Plus, festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of live music performances throughout the weekend, creating a lively atmosphere for what Gloucester Quays promises will be the foodie event of the summer.
Gloucester Quays Food Festival takes place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July 2022 from 10am each day.
