Cheers! Jeremy Clarkson's Hawkstone Brewery proves it's top of the hops at the World Beer Awards 2024.

Becoming the brand's most decorated lager, Hawkstone Premium proved it's top of the hops at the World Beer Awards 2024, being named the best lager in England.

The brewery based in Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds, and owned by TV star and now farming favourite Jeremy Clarkson, featured a number of times in the list of accolades at this year's World Beer Awards, with its pilsner winning a silver award and its Hawkstone Session lager and Hawkstone Spa low-alcohol lager both taking home bronze awards, too.

The World Beer Awards are judged in 10 categories including, best wheat beer; stout and porter; speciality beer; sour and wild beer; pale beer; no and low alcohol beer; lager; IPA; flavoured beer; and dark beer.

Then within each category is a list of each beer by country, depending on entries, with the best overall beer sitting at the top — and Hawkstone Premium ranked the best in England, earning gold.

The lager also bagged a Great Taste Award in July, amongst the 105 Gloucestershire food and drink brands, alongside Hawkstone's own vodka brand.

Hawkstone is brewed with malted barley grown at Diddly Squat Farm and can be bought at the farm shop, poured at various pubs across Gloucestershire and beyond, and ordered online via the Hawkstone website.
