Gloucester Quays has announced that its annual Food Festival has been cancelled for 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Originally planned for Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July 2020, the award-winning event will next take place from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 July 2021.

Attracting over 100,000 foodies from across the UK, the festival is a key event in Gloucestershire’s calendar, championing incredible food and drink from the region’s best artisans. It also features live entertainment, including exciting culinary demonstrations from celebrity chefs.

Jason Pullen, Lifestyle Outlets managing director, comments: ‘Under the current circumstances people’s safety is of paramount concern to us, therefore with a heavy heart we have taken the decision to postpone this year’s food festival.

‘We are already looking forward to 2021 when we will be able to host this event again in true festival style.’
