Gloucestershire based charity FoodCycle has launched new party fundraiser – communiTEA – to support the return to community dining, following the lifting of lockdown measures across the UK.

Taking place from Monday 30 August until Sunday 5 September 2021, to coincide with Cake Week, the national food charity is asking people to support them by hosting their own community tea party.

The money raised from these events with help to provide vital funds to end food poverty and loneliness by providing nutritious meals and friendly conversation to vulnerable people across Gloucestershire.

FoodCycle are encouraging those involved to create baked goods and invite family and friends to donate or, gather colleagues for a bake off.
