Giffords Circus is launching The Feast – a unique new dining experience under its famous big top at Fennells Farm near Stroud.
Launching on Friday 14 August 2020, The Feast will involve a three-course restaurant-quality dinner as well as performances from Tweedy, Lil Rice and the Giffords Circus band.
Giffords’ big top will be adapted so tables can be set out to maintain social distancing and comply with current government advice to keep audience members and performers safe. It is an innovative use of the space after The Hooley was postponed until 2021.
Giffords Circus producer, Lil Rice, said: ‘And now for something completely different! We wanted to create something totally joyous to lift the spirits. It has been an emotional and challenging year for all of us, so we thought we could all do with a little Giffords Circus magic.
‘As a result of current government guidelines, we cannot put on our planned show The Hooley, so we have now postponed it to 2021. We will be contacting all ticket holders with exchange codes to rebook. Let’s celebrate our twentieth anniversary in style! It will be a feast for all your senses.’
Tickets for The Feast are on sale now costing £50 for adults and £35 for children aged 3 to 14, with lunch, dinner and afternoon tea options available.
