During the Coronavirus crisis, Stroud-based community kitchen and restaurant The Long Table launched a seven ready meals for £25 offer – which include free delivery to homes across Gloucestershire.
The Long Table’s professional chefs cook healthy, tasty food from ingredients that would have otherwise gone to waste, including dishes like lemony butterbean stew with herby feta topping, and black beans with rainbow chard and green herb smash.
A selection of seven ready meals, delivered frozen in microwaveable containers, costs £25 and every meal purchased helps The Long Table provide food for people in need across Gloucestershire.
There’s also a pay-it-forward option, where customers can donate a week’s worth of meals to a vulnerable local person, such as someone self-isolating for health reasons, elderly people and those who need financial support.
Most dietary requirements can be catered for, so remember to mention any food allergies when ordering.
