Côte Gloucester Quays is closing its doors this February 2025 — but the centre is already in discussions for a new restaurant concept to take its place.

French restaurant Côte is closing its Gloucester restaurant, as the chain says 'au revoir' to Gloucester Quays this February 2025.

Côte first opened at Gloucester Quays in 2017 and was lauded as one of the more upmarket offerings at the retail and leisure destination.

The French-inspired brasserie-style restaurant is due to close its doors by Sunday 23 February 2025.

Fashion brand FatFace is also due to close its Gloucester Quays store this month, after reopening at the centre in 2022.

But despite Côte and FatFace's imminent closures, Gloucester Quays reported a record year for retail, food and beverage performance in 2024, ranking well above national benchmarks.

The retail and leisure destination says it is already in conversation with a new restaurant concept to take Côte's place, too.

While no details have been revealed yet, keep your eyes on SoGlos's Food & Drink section for the very latest news.

Thankfully food fans don't have too far to go to get a taste of France, as Côte has two other restaurants in Cheltenham and Cirencester; while FatFace has stores on Cheltenham's Promenade and in Stow-on-the-Wold.
