Participating restaurants, pubs and cafés in the Forest of Dean will be offering the chance for diners to save 50 per cent on food and non-alcoholic drinks, thanks to the government’s new Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
Between Mondays and Wednesdays, from Monday 3 August 2020 to Monday 31 August 2020, plenty of venues across the Forest of Dean will be offering the discount – with savings of up to £10 per person.

Tudor Farmhouse in Clearwell
The boutique Tudor Farmhouse has signed up for the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, giving diners the chance to try its 2AA Rosette restaurant for less this August. And with all its ingredients soured from local suppliers, it’s a great way to support independent food producers in the Forest of Dean.
Severn & Wye Smokery in Chaxhill
Sample Severn & Wye’s incredible produce for less, with its café and restaurant taking part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme throughout August. Take your pick from its diverse breakfast and dinner menus, which showcase its delicious range of smoked fish products.
Leonards at 39 in Ross-on-Wye
Grab a bite for 50 per cent less at Leonards on Ross-on-Wye’s high street, with a tasty range of main meals and small plate dishes to choose from. Even better, Wednesday is burger night with brand-new specials announced every week.

Make the most of a magical day out at Puzzlewood, with the onsite café offering 50 per cent off food and soft drinks throughout August. There are plenty of sandwiches, snacks and sweet treats to choose from – with children’s lunch boxes available too.
Perrygrove Railway in Coleford
For more family fun, head to Perrygrove Railway where the café is serving up grub for less during the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. From stuffed jacket potatoes to paninis, there’s plenty for grown-ups to munch while little ones tuck into a tasty kids lunch box.
