Burger fans rejoice, as Five Guys announces it is opening a new restaurant in the county, with its latest launch inside Gloucester Quays.

Known for its fully customisable burgers, fries and milkshakes, Five Guys will open at Gloucester Quays with a 15-year lease, making the Gloucester store the 95th Five Guys store in the UK.

Set to open at the end of August 2019 in a unit close to Bella Italia and Cineworld Gloucester, the fast-food chain has a loyal fan base, with celebrities including Ed Sheeran, Adele and Barack Obama said to be partial to the brand’s burgers.

Currently, the nearest Five Guys is based in Cheltenham at The Brewery Quarter, but the new restaurant will mean that visitors to Gloucester will be able to enjoy a renowned burger, without the need for a trip along the Golden Valley.

Jason Pullen is managing director at Lifestyle Outlets – the company that runs Gloucester Quays, and said: ‘We are excited to welcome Five Guys to Gloucester – the brand has a huge following thanks to its amazing food offering and we’re confident that it will quickly establish itself as a must-visit destination.’
