With its multi-million-pound renovation now complete, the Quadrangle in Cheltenham has confirmed the first restaurant tenant for the refurbished building.
And local foodies will be delighted to hear that Italian eatery, Bosco Pizzeria, will be firing up its pizza oven and bringing its authentic cuisine to Cheltenham in May 2022.
Expected to open for dine in and takeaway by the end of the year, the new restaurant will occupy a spacious corner unit with views of both the Promenade and Imperial Gardens.
The fit out will include an open kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven – creating a modern and vibrant dining space that’s perfect for lunch dates with friends, special family dinners or grabbing a bite to eat after a day in the office.
Inspired by a love of Italy and its simple yet flavoursome cuisine, Bosco in Cheltenham will serve classic Italian comfort food that doesn’t compromise on flavour – including its renowned pizzas, pastas, cured meats and authentic side dishes.
The Cheltenham restaurant will be Bosco’s fourth venture, with two popular eateries in Bristol already, and another due to open in Bath in August 2021.
Miles Johnson, founder and owner of Bosco Pizzeria, said: ‘We’re thrilled to be bringing Bosco to Cheltenham. And the Quadrangle is the perfect location for us, right in the heart of the town.
‘There seems to have been huge excitement about the refurbished building too and it’s fantastic to now be a part of that. It’s one of the reasons we were attracted to the space, it was exactly the right fit and knowing what’s worked so well for us in Bristol, we can absolutely see how our new home in the Quadrangle will allow us to do that too.’
Pizza-lovers can expect to get their hands on a slice from Bosco in May 2022, when it’s expected to open for dine in and takeaway options.
Better yet, there’s more exciting news to come as terms have also been agreed with a prospective tenant for the Quadrangle’s anticipated rooftop restaurant, with details yet to be revealed. Watch this space…
