Ellenborough Park in Southam, near Cheltenham, has a new alfresco dining experience to try, as it launches its new dining carriages from Friday 23 April 2021.
The bookable carriages offer sheltered outdoor seating for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner on Ellenborough Park’s sunny terrace – with heaters and blankets available for chillier days.
The new menu has been designed for alfresco dining with a focus on sharing dishes like walnut and cranberry baked camembert with crusty bread; cheese and charcuterie boards; chateaubriand for two; a selection of small plates such as salt and pepper calamari with saffron and parmesan mayo, chorizo with red wine and parsley, or soy glazed duck leg with plum sauce and pancakes; as well as afternoon tea.
Ellenborough Park is also opening a pop-up eatery called Cedar Pavilion in May 2021 – with wooden tables, festoon lighting and fire bowls underneath a South African inspired tent, offering impressive views over Cleeve Hill.
