To celebrate becoming the League Two champions, Cheltenham Town FC now has its very own beer – appropriately-named Champions IPA, brewed by DEYA.

Champions IPA is a 6.2 per cent soft, juicy IPA in DEYA’s signature style, brewed with American hops.

A limited run of only 1,000 uniquely designed cans of Champions IPA will be available to buy from the Jonny-Rocks stadium from Tuesday 1 June 2021 and online from DEYA Brewery – with Champions IPA also on tap at the DEYA Brewery taproom from Friday 28 June 2021.

The name was put forward by Cheltenham Town FC’s fans, with manager Michael Duff making the final decision.

DEYA Brewery initially partnered with the club as digital match sponsors for the title game against Harrogate Town and is now brewing a new beer to commemorate Cheltenham’s historic win.

Cheltenham Town FC associate director, Murry Toms, said: ‘DEYA is one of the most exciting businesses to emerge from Cheltenham right now so we wanted to explore the possibility of working together. They’ve just opened up their huge new taproom at the same time we secured promotion to League One, so these are exciting times for us both.

‘Producing a collaborative beer to mark the title win was the natural next step… And with less than two miles separating the brewery and Jonny-Rocks Stadium, it’s a local partnership with a negligible carbon footprint.'
