Unique pancake cake shop, Sisu Pancakes in Cheltenham, is expanding, announcing an exciting new partnership with Selfridges.
Launching on Thursday 25 April 2024, shoppers at Birmingham Bullring can get their hands on slices of Sisu's signature stacked pancake cakes in the Selfridges Food Hall.
Affectionately known as pannies, the cakes are made fresh every day and come in a variety of dessert-inspired flavours, from creme brulee, tiramisu and banoffee pie to Nutella and Biscoff, with seasonal specials like chocolate caramel cornflake cake and peanut butter jelly on offer, too.
The brand even created a special The Tortured Poets Department vanilla-flavoured pancake cake, bejewelled with glitter, to celebrate the release of Taylor Swift's anticipated 11th studio album.
Being stocked in the prestigious Selfridges Food Hall marks an exciting new chapter for the brand, which has a cult-like following in its hometown of Cheltenham, regularly selling out of its unique treats.
Founder Laura Evans started the company in her kitchen in 2019 and has gone on to open the dedicated store in Cheltenham; publish a pancake cookbook; win the 'most innovative bespoke pancake company award’ from Acquisition-International; and has even been on ITV.
Laura is giving away free samples of her famous pannies at the Sisu Pancakes counter at Selfridges Birmingham on Saturday 27 April 2024 from 12pm.
