Cotswolds hotel THE PIG is opening its doors to non-residents for breakfast for the first time

THE PIG has never welcomed non-residents for breakfast before but thanks to research on the surging popularity of working breakfasts, from March 2025 it's opening the hotel's kitchen doors for the first time.

Breakfast is now served at THE PIG in the Cotswolds for non-residents.

Ever since THE PIG in the Cotswolds opened its doors in September 2024, only hotel guests have had the chance to tuck into its hearty breakfasts.

But, as of March 2025, the hotel in Barnsley near Cirencester has decided to welcome non-residents too.

The aim is to make it a great place to have a working breakfast, capitalising on research from the hotel group Home Grown Hotels that shows nearly half of UK workers now have a working breakfast.

And for those not working, there's a children's breakfast too for families to tuck into a treat to start the day.

The breakfast menu includes a help-yourself breakfast table for £17.95 for adults and £6.95 for children.

Fruits, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, muffins, cold meats, cheeses and fruit juices are on offer for breakfast grazing.

There's also the option of a cooked breakfast for £22.95 for adults and £10.95 for children, which includes the breakfast table goodies too.

A full English and vegetarian 'pig out' are listed alongside smoked kippers, porridge, bacon and sausage baps as well a host of poached and scrambled eggs with trout, smashed peas and sourdough toast.

Breakfast timings for non-residents are from 7.30am to 10am from Monday to Friday and until 10.30am on weekends.
