A Cotswold hotel, nestled in the picturesque surroundings of the Stroud Valley, has officially announced the opening of its brand-new outdoor dessert bar — just in time for summer!
The Stonehouse Court Hotel sits on six acres of sprawling countryside scenery and is a popular venue offering luxury accommodation, dining and event hosting, and now it's venturing into delicious desserts.
The brand-new Wild Waffle dessert bar is serving up sweet treats and tasty smoothies in the family-friendly garden space within the hotel grounds.
Not just for hotel guests, the eatery is extending its offerings to the local community, including homemade waffles, indulgent milkshakes and premium ice cream from local favourites, Wholly Gelato.
Situated along popular walking routes, the dessert bar makes for a great pit-stop for those in need of an energy boost before continuing their outdoor pursuits.
General manager of the Stonehouse Court Hotel, Maz Jurko said: 'We wanted to create a unique space where people can enjoy tasty treats within the picturesque setting of our garden, which backs onto the Stroud Canal.
'We have
always had a lot of walkers pass the hotel, so we wanted to make sure we
offered them the perfect pit-stop — especially with the summer months
underway.'
