One of Cheltenham’s oldest pubs is doing something very 2021, with The Suffolk Arms introducing the novel concept of a ‘pub in box’, which it delivers to homes around town.

Costing £35 for two people, the pub in a box contains two tasty pies, creamy mashed potato, mushy peas and red wine gravy; with sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

There are also packets of Scampi Fries and dry roasted peanuts for a fun touch. And, of course, there’s four beers included too.

Added extras include a golden envelope containing a decent pub quiz for trivia fans, as well as a Spotify pub playlist, and even a ‘l’eau de pub’ spray – which was far more pleasant than any boozer the SoGlos team has been to. But it has been a while!

Pub in a box deliveries need to be pre-ordered from The Suffolk Arms on a Thursday for a Friday evening delivery in Cheltenham.
