The Coffee Dispensary is known by its legions of fans for its outstanding selection of speciality brews and cracking cakes.
But during Race Week 2023, the cosy coffee shop on Regent Street in Cheltenham is going to be home to cocktails, breakfast baps and live entertainment for racegoers heading to Cheltenham Festival.
From 9am to 12pm on Tuesday 14 through to Friday 17 March 2023, there'll be bacon, sausage and vegan sausage baps along with gourmet grilled sandwiches flying out of the kitchen, along with cocktails, beer, wine and Guinness from the bar.
Its luxury sandwiches are served on Hobbs House sourdough with fillings like meaty chorizo and goats cheese, as well as a vegetarian mozzarella, green pesto, tomato, fresh rocket and balsamic glaze.
Shoppers who fancy a coffee can still grab a seat from 2pm to 5pm, with the coffee shop transforming into a speakeasy-style bar from 5pm until midnight.
It'll be shaking up six favourite classic cocktails, with a wide range of wines including Champagne and prosecco available, too. The bar will also be stocked with chilled beers from Cheltenham's DEYA Brewery, as well as Peroni and Guinness.
Freshly mixed cocktails include espresso martini, pornstar martini, margarita, old fashioned, mojito and a venus blush - served with watermelon and kiwi gin.
There'll be room for 60 party people inside, as well as few extra seats outside too, with live acoustic music sets adding to the atmosphere.
Bar manager, Simon Copeland, said: 'We started our After Hours bar downstairs in October 2022 and it's proved so popular we wanted to roll it out across the whole coffee shop during Race Week. We're looking forward to offering racegoers a chilled, modern, speakeasy vibe.'
The Coffee Dispensary will be open for coffee, cocktails, beer, wine and Guinness from 9am to midnight from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 March 2023.
