Beer enthusiasts can get their hands on Battledown beer for just £2 per can at its shop on Coxhorne Farm.

Battledown Brewing Co. has turned a mishap at the canning plant into an opportunity to support local hospitality. After a batch of its California Spring Lager was put into the wrong colour cans, the business decided to sell them at a discounted rate of just £2 per beer.

What’s more, Battledown is donating £1 from every can sold directly to Hospitality Action to help support staff from hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes, school, hospitals and event venues that are facing job losses and business closures after the Covid-19 crisis.

The company has said that it’s ‘the same great lager, but also doing good for the hospitality industry that is so vital in Gloucestershire’.

The shop at Coxhorne Farm is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5.30pm, and Saturday from 9.30am to 2pm, with discounted cans of California Spring Lager available while stocks last.
