The Bathers Beats Cancer raffle has been launched by a group of friends to raise urgent funds for Stuart Bathers, a 39-year-old Cheltenham man fighting an inoperable brain tumour, to have life-saving treatment not available on the NHS.

With a target of £70,000 more than halfway achieved, the Bathers Beats Cancer raffle is a brilliant way to contribute to the fundraising efforts – with tickets costing £10, for the chance to win 124 lovely prizes, all donated by Gloucestershire businesses.

Foodies could win a tasting menu for two at Prithvi; brunch with Prosecco at The Larder; a Wild & Brie graze box or Woozy Pig Food voucher, for example.

Sports fans could win a Cheltenham Town Football Club signed ball or signed Gloucester Rugby shirt or there’s artwork from talented Gloucestershire artists Milly England Illustrations; Sophie Tan; and Anne Bate-Williams.

With a VIP tattoo experience at Tokyotattoo worth £800; glamping at Coxhorne Farm or teeth whitening myFace Dental, just a few more examples of the prizes up for grabs.

The prize draw closes on Monday 17 May 2021.
