Pub and hotel chain Fuller's has revealed plans to open a brand-new drinking establishment in the building previously occupied by De La Haye's Café Tea Room, in Bourton-on-the-Water.
The tea room went into liquidation in 2020 due to loss of trade during the pandemic and the property has been empty since.
Fuller's is currently in the process of acquiring the building for almost £3 million, with the intention to revamp and restore the Grade II listed building to its former glory - in a modern way.
It is likely to offer a similar experience to other venues in the chain, serving dishes like hearty burgers and traditional roast dinners, and of course a selection of beers, ales and more.
However, each pub does differ, with chefs given the opportunity to put their own stamp on the menu, along with a signature dish.
An official opening date for Bourton's new pub has not yet been announced, but a spokesperson for Fuller's has indicated that its doors should be open near the beginning of 2023.
