Foodies across Gloucestershire will soon have a brand-new dining destination to visit, as Filipino street food company, Humble Kusina, is set to take up a permanent residency at Dunkertons Cider in Cheltenham, this May 2023.

Bringing a taste of the Philippines to Cheltenham, Humble Kusina specialises in siapao buns, selling a range of sweet and savoury steamed buns with a colourful twist.

Pronounced ‘shoe-pow’, the brightly coloured buns are a popular street food in the Philippines, stuffed with char siu pork; traditional chicken adobo; or even chocolate orange ganache — all with a quirky colourful twist.

Humble Kusina has collaborated with many venues around Cheltenham such as The Coffee Dispensary, Woodkraft and The Curious Café and Bistro as a pop-up. Dunkertons Cider is its first permanent location, marking an exciting new chapter for the firm.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice at its new venue, with owners revealing it will be sharing a brand-new menu with diners, as well as 'still slinging those baos'.
