Tickets are now on sale for Christmas at Westonbirt, a brand-new Christmas attraction from the masterminds behind some of the world's most famous light trails.
Transforming Westonbirt Arboretum into a spectacular light and soundscape from Friday 29 November to Tuesday 31 December 2024, this all-new light trail is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events in Gloucestershire's festive calendar.
Christmas at Westonbirt is a collaboration between Forestry England and Sony Music, which produces Christmas at Kew and Christmas at Blenheim — so expect some seriously impressive installations, all choreographed to seasonal sounds and music for a fully immersive, never-before-seen experience.
See the magical forest lit up in all the colours of the rainbow, luminous birds suspended mid-air and trees shining in neon — and don't miss the ultimate festive photo opportunity as you stroll through the sparkling light tunnel.
With specially selected street food vendors dotted around the trail, grab a hot chocolate or spiced winter warmer to sip as you explore under the stars, or stop for a seasonal snack from the buzzy Christmas village at the end of the trail.
And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Father Christmas!
Christmas at Westonbirt takes place on selected dates from Friday 29 November to Tuesday 31 December 2024.
Westonbirt is also hosting several relaxed sessions for adults and young people with additional needs, for the chance to experience Christmas at Westonbirt without the usual high volumes of people, at 4pm on Saturday 30 November, Saturday 7 and Thursday 12 December 2024.
Off-peak tickets are priced at £18 for adults and £12 for children aged three to 16; standard tickets cost £22.50 for adults and £15 for children; while peak tickets for the most sought-after time slots are priced at £24 for adults and £17 for children. Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum members benefit
from free event parking for one car.
Tickets are limited, so anyone who wants to experience this brand-new event should book early via forestryengland.uk/westonbirt/christmas to secure the date and time of their choice.
