Established in 2016 by Gloucestershire NHS midwife, Beth Kitt, The Bump to Baby Chapter is a hub of experienced advice and guidance, offering support to those becoming parents — from first timers to parenting veterans.
Having already launched two much-loved community destinations in Gloucester and Worcester, a brand-new venue is opening in Cheltenham this month, with an official launch party taking place on Thursday 20 July 2023 from 10.30am until 1.30pm, to mark the occasion.
The free launch party will open 'The Hubb' in style, with soft play, mini massages, a pop up shop and refreshments.
Based on Alstone Lane in Cheltenham, the new centre's timetable is packed with antenatal classes, with courses already fully booked for September due dates.
Each antenatal course consists of four sessions, covering everything from signs of labour and pain relief, to breast feeding and safe sleeping.
Delivering essential antenatal and hypnobirthing classes both online and at the centres, Kitt shares knowledge from her 12 years of experience as a qualified midwife and mother-of-four.
With the birthing journey at the heart of its mission, The Bump to Baby Chapter believes that birth isn't just about the arrival of the baby.
Kitt said: 'Support out there is lacking and I want that to change. I want people to have impartial, evidence-based, non-judgmental advice about birth preparation, in order to feel supported and prepared in the best way possible.
'I'm so excited to be opening The Hubb in Cheltenham. We are so happy to be offering pregnant women and new parents a collection of services, classes and events all within one space to nurture and support them as they grow from bump to baby.'
