Known as Dinky Street, the new play centre plans to open on Church Road in Bishop’s Cleeve in Cheltenham in March 2019.

Promising to include a pretend play police station, hairdressers, hospital and supermarket, the role-play centre will be open all week and plans to serve up real-life drinks and cakes from its own café.

A Facebook post from the venue also advises that sibling discounts will be available, alongside options to host birthday parties in seven different play areas.

Louise Moore is behind the business and told SoGlos: ‘My business partner Michelle and I have five young children between us and are always looking for exciting places to visit.

‘We feel that there is a distinct lack of children’s indoor play areas in our borough, which is why we are so excited to be opening Dinky Street in Bishops Cleeve. We can’t wait to see everyone there getting stuck in!’
