Magical family-friendly festival is coming to Sudeley Castle this summer 2021

Sudeley Castle will be transformed into a world of fantasy and sci-fi when the three-day Fantasy Forest festival arrives in July 2021.

Transport yourself to a magical realm full of fairytales and enchantment when popular family-friendly festival Fantasy Forest takes over the Cotswolds this summer.

Taking place in the fairytale setting that is the historic Sudeley Castle, Fantasy Forest will bring an enchanted world of fantasy and sci-fi to life this July 2021.

The lively three-day event gets underway on Friday 16 July 2021 at 7pm and runs until Sunday 18 July 2021 with a whole host of activities and entertainment set to take place.

The annual festival provides a varied programme of family-friendly entertainment including the UK’s largest Fantasy Market, roaming costumed characters, live bands performing across three stages throughout the day, talks by fantasy artists, medieval tournaments, falconry, workshops, children’s entertainment, walkabout theatre, a costume show and much more.

Medieval performance group The Sherwood Outlaws will be on hand to lay on fight demonstrations, soft archery, storytelling and children’s craft activities.

Special guests will also appear at the event including Terry English; world-class armourer and costumer producer for the likes of Aliens, Batman and Harry Potter, Anne Stokes; a hugely popular fantasy artist of game illustrations, figurines and accessories, Chris Achilleos; top fantasy book illustrator, best known for his Doctor Who artwork and conceptual film work on Heavy Metal, King Arthur and The Last Legion, and more.

Day tickets and camping tickets are available for the event with tickets starting from £9.99 for children and £18.95 for adults with children under the age of seven going free.

The event starts at 7pm on Friday 16 July 2021 for weekend ticket holders only and 10am on Saturday 17 July and Sunday 18 July 2021.
