A giant dragon called Dreygo will visit Gloucester on Saturday 27 April 2019, as part of the city’s celebrations of St George’s Day.
Brave children and families will be able to visit the fearsome dragon at King’s Square at 1.15pm and 3.15pm.
Alongside the dragon’s appearance, there will be three craft workshops where youngsters can create their own paper dragon puppet, make a dragon’s mask from recycled materials, or make their own shield before they meet the beast!
The first craft workshop takes place between 10am and 12pm and the second session takes place between 1pm and 3pm in King’s Walk Shopping Centre.
Nina Mistry from Marketing Gloucester said: ‘It’s great to have an event that celebrates St. George’s Day and allows families to create something that they can take home.’
