Free places available at Everyman Theatre Summer School thanks to a very famous name

Funded by the Sir Ian McKellen bursaries, free and reduced price places are available for this year's Everyman Theatre's Summer School, with applications open now for 13 to 20 year olds who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend.

Bursary places are available at the Everyman Theatre's Summer School in 2023.

Whatever their level of experience, the Everyman Theatre’s Senior Summer School provides a prime opportunity for budding performers aged 13 to 20 to develop new skills in the arts during the school holidays.

And there are still a few places remaining at this year’s Senior Summer School, which runs from Wednesday 9 August 2023.

Improving access to the arts for more young people across Gloucestershire, there are also a number of free and reduced prices places available too - thanks to the Sir Ian McKellen bursaries.

Ran by the Everyman Theatre's professional creative team and spanning eight days of singing, dancing and acting, this year's summer school entitled Salt The Musical gives young people a taste of the theatre first hand, culminating in a final performance on the main stage.

The Everyman Theatre Summer School costs £250 per participant, which can be booked online by visiting everymantheatre.org.uk
