A festival dedicated entirely to dogs will take over Bristol’s Ashton Court Estate this June – perfect for dog loving families, and less than an hour from Gloucestershire.
Returning for its third year, DogFest arrives in the West for its annual canine celebration at Ashton Court Estate in Bristol on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June 2019. The festival promises family fun for both humans and four-legged friends, with activities organised for pooches and their owners.
Headlining the festival with anecdotes from her life with dogs is presenter Clare Balding. Joining her is The Supervet himself, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, talking about what inspired him to become a vet and the importance of animals in his life.
Superfans will also get the chance to meet Clare and Noel as they sign copies of their new books during the festival. Other guest appearances include journalist Kate Spicer with her Sunday Times bestseller Dog Lost, and Britain’s Got Talent’s Lucy Heath and Trip Hazard, showing off their incredible training.
Brand new to the festival this year is the Puppy Zone, where pups can get used to interacting with others and build confidence under the watchful eye of puppy trainer, Gwen Bailey.
The festival promises live music, scrumptious food and drink, shopping and family-friendly fun, for both you and your dog.
