The Honda e Advance 54 kWh boasts stylish design, coming in white, black, grey, blue and yellow and featuring retro wooden touches inside.

A game changer inside, with a look that's a nod to both the past and future, the compact Honda e Advance is a sought-after model on the used EV market, offering comfort and style in equal measure.

SoGlos, in partnership with Cheltenham specialist Cleevely EV, looks at all the features in the last instalment of our EV of the month series, from battery range and exterior finish, to innovations like cameras in place of wing mirrors.

Key stats

The Honda e is ideal as a town or city runaround, with an approximate range of 120 to over 140 miles on a single charge. It has 100kw DC rapid charging capability — getting you back up to full strength in 30 minutes — and comes with Type 2 and three-pin charge cables.

Interior features

Inside is where the Honda e really comes into its own. First to catch the eye is the dual screen across the dashboard, serving as an infotainment system. Cast the eye further to find another screen with a speedometer and two more, left and right, connecting to cameras on the doors — replacing traditional wing mirrors.

Features inside include a DAB radio with Bluetooth, connecting to a sound system made up of eight speakers and a subwoofer; along with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

For drivers there's adaptive cruise control and Honda parking pilot, too; while everyone inside the car can enjoy panoramic views through its glass roof.

Exterior features

The Honda e boasts stylish, vintage-modern design outside, coming in white, black, grey, blue and yellow; and featuring a spoiler and 17 inch alloy wheels.

Additionally, its cameras on the passenger doors are smaller than wing mirrors and help to reduce drag, as well as offering a wider angle views for drivers.

SoGlos loves

While the tech inside and out steals the show, its modern features are counteracted by wood finishes across the dash and central reservation, which, paired with its vintage-look headlights, adds a retro warmth to the Honda e that gives it a real sense of fun.

The Honda e Advance 35.5kWh is available from Cleevely EV for £16,995.
