Families going fishing in Gloucester might end up catching something a bit bigger than they were expecting – as dinosaurs have started arriving at Catch A Smile in Quedgeley.
The family-friendly fishing charity has a new outdoor exhibition called Dan’s Dinos and friends, featuring sculptures of dinosaurs including a Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and even a baby Pterodactyl emerging from its egg – alongside a dodo and a sabre-toothed tiger too.
The attraction just outside Gloucester has a fishing lake, petting corner, café and relaxation area and is specially designed for people with disabilities and additional needs. It is wheelchair accessible too.
Catch A Smile hopes the new dinosaurs will be ready to greet visitors when it reopens after lockdown in March 2021.
