Offering an enjoyable day out without spending a penny, the Cotswolds AONB Hare Trail runs across Gloucestershire and beyond until Sunday 9 September 2018.

Now in full swing, the popular public art trail boasts over 128 colourful hares, springers and leverets, all of which have been hand-painted by local artists.

The unique sculptures all represent the theme of living landscapes in the Cotswolds, promoting sustainable tourism and celebrating the region’s rich heritage, natural diversity, agriculture, crafts, culture and businesses.

Families can spend the day spotting as many hares as they can; reaching across four corners of the Cotswolds, it’s the perfect opportunity to visit beautiful towns and villages along the way.

Free trail passports can be downloaded via cotswoldsharetrail.org.uk, while SoGlos has also rounded up all you need to know about the trail too.
