With over 1000 animals coming through its doors each year, Cheltenham Animal Shelter already does a fantastic job of rehoming pets to people in Gloucestershire. But the charity says it wants to do more, and has announced the opening of a state-of-the-art Young Animal Centre.

Set to open in May 2018, the new venture will feature a kitten maternity unit, puppy accommodation, feeding rooms and a cat isolation block. What’s more, local supporters can leave their mark on the building with a new ‘buy-a-brick’ initiative to fund the final stages of the build.

Costing £25 for up to 20 letters, supporters can buy a personalised brick which will form part of the exterior of the new building and help to support the worthy cause.

Promising to home to some of the cutest kittens and perfect puppies, the centre will also be positioned on the shelter’s Cheltenham site and offers the perfect opportunity to support the charity.
