Its charming Enchanted Garden trail was popular with visitors throughout the summer — and this year, Painswick Rococo Garden is bringing it back for a unique Christmas light trail experience.
For the very first time, visitors can see its beautiful willow-sculpted creatures lit up after dark, following the all-new Enchanted Garden By Night trail on selected dates from Thursday 7 December 2023 to Saturday 6 January 2024.
Wrap up warm and make magical memories exploring the 18th century pleasure garden at night, spotting dancing fairies, majestic unicorns and other fairy-tale friends — all illuminated by twinkling lights for an unforgettable festive spectacle.
Tucked away in a valley, Painswick Rococo Garden is one of the Cotswolds' most gorgeous hidden gems. It's well-loved by families and nature lovers all year round, but this winter promises to be extra special with its illuminated trail of fairy-tale creatures set to enchant visitors of all ages.
Even better, well-behaved dogs are also welcome to explore the trail, providing they're kept on a short lead.
Children can snack on seasonal treats and sip marshmallow-topped hot chocolates, while mulled wine is served as a winter warmer for the grown-ups. The Rococo Garden shop will also be open, with locally-sourced Christmas gift ideas and its own range of freshly produced food and drink, made with ingredients from the kitchen garden.
To complete the festive experience, onsite nursery Exedra Nursery has real Christmas trees for sale from Saturday 25 November 2023.
Tickets to the Enchanted Garden By Night trail cost £15 for adults and £8 for children over four. Under fours can experience the twinkling trail for free, and there's no additional cost to bring your dog along.
Numbers are limited, to make it a relaxing family experience so anyone wanting to experience this brand-new Christmas attraction should book early, as Painswick Rococo Garden is expecting tickets to sell fast.
