Get your dancing shoes on for a free class from professional Strictly Come Dancing choreographer, Jenny Thomas, this Easter 2023.

The professional dancer behind some of the most memorable routines on the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing is hosting a special workshop in Cheltenham's Imperial Gardens this Easter 2023.

Jenny Thomas has 35 years' dance experience and is trained in almost every genre from ballet to authentic jazz. She is credited with creating Strictly favourites including the hilarious 'Gangnam Style' routine from politician Ed Balls and Katya Jones; and Steps star Faye Tozer's top-scoring routine to 'Lonely Goatherd' with Giovanni Pernice.

Totally free to attend, the session takes place on Saturday 8 April 2023 from 11am and everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you're taking your first dance steps or you're a Lindy Hop legend.

A great opportunity to try a new skill, attendees can even show off their new moves with live music from local musician, Peter Gill, in Imperial Gardens after the workshop.

With the sold-out Cheltenham Swing Dance Festival taking place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 April 2023 at the Town Hall, hosts hope the free taster lesson encourages people to get involved in the local dance community.
