Anyone who has been missing the movies as much as we have will be delighted to hear that outdoor cinema screenings are back this spring, as The Luna Drive-in Cinema returns to Blenheim Palace in nearby Oxfordshire.

Taking place from Thursday 6 to Monday 24 May 2021, The Luna Cinema is hosting a series of drive-in screenings, with Blenheim Palace providing a stunning backdrop for the events.

Movies on the bill include singalong favourites Grease and The Greatest Showman, iconic rom coms Pretty Woman and Dirty Dancing, action-packed family movies including Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and Star Wars: A New Hope as well as cult classic Pulp Fiction.

The socially distanced drive-in event gives each car an allocated parking bay for the duration of the movie, with speaker collection and drop-off points outside the arena.

Moviegoers can pre-order a retro treat box with popcorn, sweets and drinks when booking tickets, or order street food and drinks using a QR code at the event – with face masks required when collecting orders.

Tickets for The Luna Cinema at Blenheim Palace cost from £37.50 per car and go on sale at 10am on Friday 5 March 2021.
