Friends! The Musical Parody heads out on a UK tour in July 2025, starting at Cirencester's Barn Theatre.

Gloucestershire's biggest Friends fans can try their hand at playing their favourite member of the gang in a hit musical based on the world-famous sitcom, at Cirencester's Barn Theatre.

Open auditions for the UK production of Friends! The Musical Parody — a 'side-splitting' musical comedy from the producers of Hairspray and director of The Full Monty — are being held at the Barn this January 2025, with the show heading out on a UK tour this summer, prior to hitting the West End.

The show's production team, including Everyman Theatre CEO Mark Goucher and renowned director Michael Gyngell, are inviting people to audition to play Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe and Gunther for the UK tour.

A stateside hit, in New York, Las Vegas and on tour, the show is described as an 'uncensored, fast-paced' production made up of iconic moments from all ten seasons of Friends, featuring an entirely original musical score that reflects 'the challenges of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan'.

Budding actors who're able to 'pivot' their skills to singing and dancing or vice versa — or experienced musical theatre types who fancy a go at playing some of the world's most beloved TV characters — can find out more about how to apply for an audition on the Friends! The Musical Parody website.

The UK tour opens at the Barn Theatre this summer — running from Monday 14 July to Saturday 23 August — and also comes to Cheltenham's Everyman in October 2025, with tickets on sale now.
