The production company behind the likes of Margot Robbie’s Mary Queen of Scots and Netflix’s Rebecca are looking for film extras in Gloucestershire.
Casting agency Casting Collective has put out a call for extras over the age of 16 for Working Title Films’ new medieval costume drama.
Filming will take place over a few days in Gloucester from March to May 2021 with strict Covid-19 protocols in place for all cast, crew and crowds throughout shooting.
No experience is necessary, anyone aged 16 or over who has a valid National Insurance Number is encouraged to apply – although applicants must not have obviously dyed hair or visible tattoos. The casting call says those who are successful will receive a ‘good pay rate.’
Although it is not yet clear what the title of the drama will be or where it will be aired, other period productions that have been filmed in Gloucester include the aforementioned Mary Queen of Scots, where extras were seen wearing black and heading into Gloucester Cathedral, as well as well as the mini-series The Spanish Princess which starred Game of Thrones actress Charlotte Hope.
Those hoping to appear in the new medieval costume drama should use the application form on Casting Collective’s website.
