After a short appearance on the show, Cotswolds boy George Tasker has been dumped from Love Island 2022 and won’t be continuing his journey to find ‘the one’ this season.

Among six other singletons who entered the Casa Amor villa, the 23-year-old labourer had high hopes of turning heads and claimed that he wasn’t afraid to ‘tread on toes’ if needed.

But his time on the sizzling summer series wasn’t completely fruitless – during his stay, George did share a bed with fellow islander Ekin-Su. The pair seemed quite close and were seen cuddling under the covers at night but unfortunately, it didn’t work out for him this time.

In the recoupling, Ekin-Su decided to stick with her original partner, Davide, leaving George single and therefore dumped from the island.

Love Island continues as usual on ITV2 at 9pm.
