Gloucestershire foodies won't want to miss Channel 4's Sunday Brunch this weekend, as Tubby Tom will be cooking live on the show on Sunday 25 August 2024.
The man behind the cult brand of hot sauces, seasonings and rubs will be cooking up one of his signature dishes — chicky tacos — and is encouraging viewers to have a go at cooking along at home.
He's also released a limited-edition Sunday Brunch bundle in the Tubby Tom's online shop so home cooks can get Tom's authentic flavour in their own kitchens.
The bundle costs £26.95 and features all the seasonings and sauces required — including Taco Drip hot sauce, Fire Candy hot sauce, Taco Dust seasoning, La Cucaracha seasoning, smoked garlic rapeseed oil and Pecan Smoked sea salt.
In an email to his newsletter subscribers, Tom said he was 'so nervous' and had been for weeks, adding 'it's not often that I get out of Gloucester so this is rocking my world, again!'
The last time Tom appeared on Sunday Brunch in January 2024, he saw a huge influx of orders coming through his Gloucester warehouse from people who had never heard of the brand before, keeping him and the Tubby team on their toes.
Helping to put Gloucestershire's incredible food and drink producers on the map, let's hope he can expect a similar fate this time around!
