Promising scented crazy golf courses along with sushi, exotic cocktails and bubble teas, Putt Putt Social is set to launch at Gloucester's brand-new entertainment hub We Do Play in March 2024, taking over the former Primark building on Eastgate Street.
Welcoming visitors from Saturday 9 March 2024, the multi-brand activity centre is poised to be a hotspot for family fun and great days out, with 18 holes across two courses inspired by the beauty and buzz of the Far East, with each hole developed to test keen golfers' skills — there's even a wave vortex emitting smells of the ocean and streams enriched with a sweet jasmine fragrance.
During their visit, Putt Putt Social customers will also be able to tuck into some authentic Japanese cuisine from the popular brand You Me Sushi, which is said to serve up some of the best sushi outside of London.
You Me Sushi has 20 eateries in Greater London and its restaurant at Putt Putt Social Gloucester is its second location in Gloucestershire, with its first in Cheltenham town centre.
For over-18s, the venue will also offer an exciting range of cocktails, including unique bubble tea specials and large sharing drinks so keen golfers can putt and dine on some delectable sushi and drink some tasty new drink fusions.
If that wasn't enough, the leisure venue will also host themed music nights with guest DJs that will be creating
some memorable nights out in the city.
Richard Beese, co-founder of We Do Play, a provider of immersive hospitality and leisure experiences, which includes Putt Putt Social and Flip Out, said: 'Gloucester will be the first city that we have launched Putt Putt Social in.
'It's a concept that my team is really proud of. The combination of competitive socialising, fine food and drink and music — what more could you want from a night out?'
The addition of Putt Putt Social at We Do Play follows the recent launch of the UK's most immersive laser-tag experience, Laser Quest; and VRXtra, a state-of-the-art dedicated virtual reality studio which both opened back in February 2024.
