Gloucestershire's beloved Giffords Circus is bringing seaside charm in 2025 when it celebrates its 25th anniversary, announcing its brand-new show, Laguna Bay, for 2025.
The immersive new production, once again directed by Cal McCrystal, promises the most 'astonishing and awe-inspiring spectacle ever seen', jam-packed with magic, mayhem and mystery, celebrating art, love and kindness.
Set in the buoyant and sunny era of 1950’s America, Laguna Bay is a blend of fun, excitement and charm, with the show offering a mix of thrills, skills, adventure, romance, theatrics and hilarity to change all your preconceptions of traditional circus.
In true Giffords tradition, the new show features a plethora of fabulous artistes, one naughty and some may say very silly artiste, incredible musicians, wonderful sets and dazzling costumes, accompanied by incredible food from the Circus Sauce travelling restaurant.
Plus, much-loved Gloucestershire icon, Tweedy the Clown — who took a year's hiatus in 2024 — returns to centre stage in 2025 to delight audiences, alongside a cast of acrobats, magicians, musicians and clowns from all over the world in a show that will combine poetry, music and performing arts.
The tour kicks off at Fennells Farm in Stroud on Thursday 17 April before heading off on tour across the country, stopping off at iconic locations including Sudeley Castle and Blenheim Palace, before it returns home on Thursday 18 September 2025.
