It’s one of this year’s most hotly anticipated new openings – and SoGlos got an exclusive look inside the new TIVOLI Cinema Cheltenham before it officially opens this Friday 24 September 2021.
The new boutique cinema certainly delivers in term of opulence with its luxurious interior.
There are four screens, each kitted out with state-of-the-art technology, high-tech laser projection and plush sofa seating, including day beds in the front row – not to mention Ralph Lauren wallpaper!
There is also a 32-seat Director’s Lounge which is available for private hire – with electric foot rests built into the seats and the opportunity to connect a laptop or presentation directly to the cinema screen.
For film-loving foodies, the lounge bar area serves barista coffee, drinks and luxury versions of classic cinema snacks, from wild boar hot dogs to sourdough pizza. As well as classic cocktails, the bar team is also working on creating movie themed cocktails, too.
TIVOLI is even developing an app that will allow moviegoers to order drinks and snacks directly to their seats.
Tickets for TIVOLI Cinema cost £15 for off-peak screenings from Monday to Thursday before 5pm; £18 for standard screenings Monday to Thursday after 5pm and Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 5pm; and £20 for weekend peak tickets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 5pm.
To reserve one of the luxurious day beds in the front row, or for a seat in the Director’s Lounge, it costs an extra £2.50 per ticket.
TIVOLI Cinema Cheltenham opens on Friday 24 September 2021 with the latest instalment of James Bond, No Time To Die, set to be the first film screened when it is released on Thursday 30 September 2021.
