Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre has beaten its own pantomime ticket sales records, with Cinderella selling 49,614 tickets – as well as raising £10,000 for Scrubditch Care Farm, near Cirencester.
On stage in Cheltenham from Friday 29 November 2019 to Sunday 12 January 2020, throughout the pantomime season theatre ambassadors, volunteers, staff and the cast of the show helped to raise the funds for Scrubditch Care Farm, which supports young people and adults with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire.
The panto, starred Tweedy amongst its impressive ensemble cast, and received a rave review from SoGlos.
The Everyman Theatre’s chief executive, Mark Goucher, said: ‘This has been a fantastic season. We have sold more tickets than ever before and enjoyed 5 star reviews. I want to thank our customers who have also given so generously to this brilliant local charity. We will work even harder to deliver you an even better show next time.’
Next season’s pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk at The Everyman Theatre is on sale now and opens on Friday 27 November 2020.
