Cineworld is reopening its cinemas in Cheltenham and Gloucester

Cineworld cinemas in Gloucester and Cheltenham are finally reopening, welcoming film fans back with movies including Godzilla vs Kong and Peter Rabbit 2.

Cineworld has announced that it is reopening its Gloucestershire cinemas in Cheltenham and Gloucester on Wednesday 19 May 2021.

The cinema giant closed its doors during lockdown restrictions, however film fans in the county don’t have long to wait before they can head back to the big screen.

The first films to be shown at Cineworld cinemas in Cheltenham from reopening day include Godzilla vs Kong; Jude and the Black Messiah; Mortal Kombat; My New York Year; Spiral: From The Book Of Saw; The Unholy; Those Who Wish Me Dead; and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

With family films scheduled including Tom & Jerry: The Movie and Peter Rabbit 2, which was filmed in Gloucester.

Extra safety measures will be in place to protect Cineworld cinemagoers, such as introducing updated seating maps to ensure social distancing and the wearing face coverings but these can be removed when eating and drinking.
